NFL films
From Brian Rosenfeld of NFL Films:  The segment that we produced on Kyle Lasher will be airing tomorrow, Tuesday, November 22nd, at 7pm on Fox Sports 1 (with a re-air on Saturday, December 3rd, at 10:30am on NFL Network).  The piece is within the show called “NFL Films Presents”, and Kyle’s segment (which runs about 7minutes, 30seconds) will be the third segment in the show.

Maddie Martin recently signed her National Letter of Intent to play basketball at New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ.

Veteran's Day
Dunmore High School recently had an assembly for Veterans Day honoring our nation's veterans.  Former Scranton Mayor David Wenzel served as the guest speaker.

The Dunmore School District Art Department spread Holiday Cheer to the Dunmore Corners.  Thank you Mrs. Hogan, Mrs. Jimmie, and Mrs. Ondek.  Special thanks to our students for their outstanding work!

Poinsettia sale
Spanish Club Poinsettia/Fresh Wreath Sale
            The Spanish Club is conducting its annual Poinsettia /Frasier Fir Wreath Fundraiser from November 14th to December 5th.  The poinsettias will cost $10 each for a 6” poinsettia of the color of your choice (red, white, pink, or marble).and the 26 inch wreaths cost $20.00. Vouchers will be given out for the poinsettias/ wreaths and will be redeemable at Jerry’s For All Seasons on or after December 9, 2011.

NEPA affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure
Dunmore High School recently presented a check in the amount of $2,750 to the NEPA affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  Students raised funds through a pink t-shirt sale and pink ribbon sale as part of their annual DHS Kickoff for the Cure event.  The DHS Service Club would like to thank all members of the Dunmore School District community who participated in this event.

Raising the Buck
The class of 2017 is "Raising the Buck."  As a graduation gift to the school, the seniors will be raising money to donate a Buck Statue.  To do this they will be collecting money at sporting events, selling T-shirts, accepting donations, and holding other fundraising endeavors.  We thank you for your support.  If you have any questions please contact Nick Maldonato or Colin Holmes.

Walking Trail Closed During School Hours
The WALKING TRAIL around the Dunmore School District Campus will be CLOSED during school hours. Those hours are 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Trail will be Open on weekends and non-school days.
This is being done to ensure the SAFETY of all students. It is not possible to allow outside access to our facilities while schools are in session.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but STUDENT SAFETY must be at the forefront of every decision we make.
